剧集介绍：
欧阳与林氏两家族，同执日本陶艺界牛耳，欧阳博为生长在日本的华侨世家，由於醉心陶艺，一生追求完美境界及艺术上的最高成就，每年日本陶艺界最高荣誉的艺术院赏、文化赏等，都是欧阳博与林俊彦等名家争取的目标。林俊彦是欧阳博同门师兄弟田玉璞的儿子。田玉璞过世将近十年，他生前入赘日本老师林家。娶林悦子为妻。俊彦遗传了父亲惊人的陶艺天赋，更遗传了对自己生长的中国的强烈爱国情操，可是田玉璞过世後，林家传统的声誉就靠独子俊彦传递下去。俊彦虽想恢复父亲的国籍及姓氏，回到台湾去，却因为对母亲以及林家陶艺事业的责任，只能身不由己的继续留在日本。而欧阳博年事渐高，数年前娶了美女静秋为继室。静秋在琴、画上的才艺与绝色，令欧阳博视为艺术品一样珍爱，甚至到了没有她，就无法产生创作的灵感欧阳博膝下有一子一女，儿子百岳原本才华洋溢，却因为欧阳博不满他作品的风格，硬要刻意改变他，但百岳不愿失去创意的自由，因此父子常常为了百岳的作品，发生强烈的冲突，最後百岳宁可承认自己是庸才，也不愿任由父亲捏拿成他自己的模式；这一点连百琪都不解，弟弟的创作风格，究竟父亲为什麼那麼深痛恶觉，为此父子间的战争由热而冷，最後形同路人般冷漠、疏远。
