剧集介绍：

明朝中叶，朝政腐败，官僚贪污之风极盛，民怨沸腾。锦衣卫叶逢（刘德凯饰）化名为红叶大盗，专诛杀贪官污吏，劫富济贫，朝廷奸党对他恨之入骨。一日，红叶被人追杀，在河边遇到小和尚施吉（周超饰），俩人结为莫逆。施吉生性聪明，乐于助人，机智英勇，爱憎分明，极受附近百姓喜爱，因得罪于该地官府，施吉师徒所在的林隐寺被封，无奈师徒三人被迫离开寺院，前往京城寻找栖息地。
