剧集介绍：
安聘远是一个赏金猎人，靠替人破案拿取赏金为生，朝廷对这个案子十分重视，许以重金要他到小镇察探白老爷的死因。聘远抽丝剥茧艰难调查，案情却越发纠缠——白家大房和二房两对母子明争暗斗；三夫人与大少爷旧情复燃；昔日情人雨涵被逼发疯。每一个线索都会在他查访之前被掐断：而父亲的古琴竟在小镇上离奇出现，牵出了十三年前的一桩凶案，带来了这个伴随着血腥的秘密。原来聘远的父亲探知小镇有一个全亚洲最大的金矿，而金矿的地图只有他一个人有，日本人得知这个情况，派人追杀，父亲将地图交给了白老爷，白老爷假装烧毁了地图，暗地里却找了画匠和裱匠将地图藏到一个秘密的地方，然后将这个秘密编成一首诗分别交予四个夫人，希望她们能同心协力找出金矿。事与愿违，四个夫人都不肯将自己知道的诗句说出来，而知情人一个个被害，案情陷入了一个又一个的谜团中。
