剧集介绍：
上个世纪三十年代，中国处在一个风雨飘摇的艰难时期。民族资本家龙笑之，一面悉心经营着上海滩最大的航运公司——龙传行，一面又要当好一家之主撑起偌大一个龙家。东北沦陷后，华北局势不稳。龙笑之长居北平的大太太林慧如不得不迁居上海。故事便从这里开始。林慧如虽是大家闺秀，处事心思慎密，却并没有给龙家带来半点宁静。虽然身为钢琴家的二太太齐冠男，对林慧如十分尊重，赢得了林慧如的好感；但是交际花出身的三太太唐娜樱，则在新势力面前惶恐不安，不断拨弄是非。一时间，龙家上下，鸡飞狗跳。面对纷乱的家庭内务，龙笑之不得不感叹：现代文明就应该是一夫一妻制！封建家庭制度实在令人疲惫。
