剧集介绍：
九十年代，南方某市，当高嘉祥和宁欣然沉浸在拍婚纱的喜悦中时，宁欣然的父亲却因不慎买到古董赝品，一夜之间倾家荡产。神不守舍的宁父拿着赝品前往古董交易市场寻找卖家，不幸发生车祸，告别人世。宁欣然的母亲赵慧芳认为高嘉祥的父亲当初劝说宁父买下古董导致宁父意外身亡，对高家心存不快，阻止宁欣然与高嘉祥交往。为摆脱父辈的阻碍，高嘉祥和宁欣然决定出国深造。宁欣然和高嘉祥的约定遭到双方父母的反对。高嘉祥只好独自前往美国等待宁欣然。高嘉祥一走杳无音讯，下落不明。宁欣然则发现怀上了高嘉祥的孩子。宁欣然不顾母亲赵慧芳的劝说将孩子生下。赵慧芳因担心女儿带着孩子将来无法嫁人，未经宁欣然允许将孩子送到了高家。高嘉祥的母亲叶华荣为了儿子收下孩子请人喂养，不让宁欣然与孩子见面。就在宁欣然无助之时，高嘉祥的孪生弟弟高嘉佑忽然出现在眼前，宁欣然将他当成了高嘉祥，重拾生活的希望。为了弥补高家的过错，同时因担心宁欣然承受不了见不到孩子的打击，善良的高嘉佑决定暂时隐瞒自己的真实身份，替她找回孩子后再道出真相。
