剧集介绍：
憨厚老实的小木匠周六福在人到四十的时候才终于与老乡春燕喜结连理，可人生好不容易盼来的大喜事却因为几个工友在婚礼上的一番闹腾而招来了警察，原本该喜气洋洋的婚礼被搅黄了。不开心的周六福在街上散心时发现小偷行窃，毅然见义勇为却受了伤，被愧疚的女事主苏兰送到了医院，却未想由此查出自己居然患有绝症。大受打击的周六福在一番考量之后决定与春燕离婚，只为不耽误她的前程，可是毫不知情的春燕却以为周六福变了心，伤心欲绝的情况下也不纠缠，于是两人协议离婚。在医院接受治疗的周六福却与苏兰的母亲杨桂琴因为同病相怜而成了好友，苏母在非常欣赏周六福的情况下便极力撮合女儿苏兰与之在一起，苏兰也在相处中渐渐喜欢上这个憨厚踏实的男人。可是当春燕知道周六福是因为病情而与她离的婚，便还是赶了过来，于是三人就此陷入了复杂错乱的三角关系.....
