剧集介绍：
讲述的是明代江南两个刺绣之家的争斗及两家年轻人间的爱和恨。江家和杭家是苏州两个刺绣大户，专为皇帝缝制皇袍，由于竞争的关系，两家关系是面和心不和。杭家长子杭景枫一直默默爱着江家千金江嘉沅，但碍于家庭的关系，无法表白。杭景枫的父亲多年前与苗族姑娘徐瑾偷欢时生下私生子徐恨却把这个责任推给江嘉沅的父亲。徐恨由舅舅徐福带大，徐福誓要为徐恨讨回公道，带徐恨来到苏州，在徐福把江家搞得家破人亡的同时，江嘉沅也与徐恨产生了真挚的爱情，嘉沅怀上了徐恨的骨肉。这时徐福告诉徐恨他与嘉沅是亲兄妹，徐恨失手杀死了徐福，自己也由此入狱。嘉沅一个人带着徐恨的儿子艰难地生活，此时遇到了她生命中的第三个男人——一个有妻室的岭南富商方天羽（何晟铭饰演），他将她纳为偏室。他的妻子起初无法接受嘉沅，但最终被嘉沅的诚心感动，临终前，同意将嘉沅扶正，而两人结婚的当晚，徐恨十分落魄地回来了，告诉嘉沅两人并不是亲兄妹……
